If you are booking our services you are agreeing to abide by our terms and conditions.
The 'company' Special Creations is our trading name, the hirer is the person or company that has committed to buy, hire or use our services (all items brought are sold as seen no refunds will be given exchanges or credit notes will be issued)
All good remain the property of Special Creations unless these have been brought under sale conditions, any stock equipment or hire services will continue to be the property of Special Creations the hirer under no circumstances can assign, hire, lend or give our property to a third person or company.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required to reserve your booking, this will be deducted from your final bill.
Bookings can be completed on line, by phone, in person or by email, once a booking is confirmed and your deposit has been paid and received a confirmation letter will be send to you by your own preferred way of communication.
All prices quoted are an estimate and are subject to an increase if the manufactures have increased the price of your chosen products. You will be notified with any changes at least 4 weeks before your full balance is due, no increase will be added by us as a service charge unless you have added extra services.
Payment plans are available with the facility to pay as you go with the final balance being due at least 14 days before your date of event. Payment dates and amounts to be paid will be confirmed on booking your event if you have chosen to pay this way a receipt for every payment received will be issued to you.
In addition to your non refundable deposit a loss and hire deposit is also required. This is for all hire items to cover theft & damage. This will be used in event of damage and or loss to any items and equipment that is no longer fit for purpose after they have been collected from the hirer. This deposit will be reflected on what products are being hired, this deposit will be returned in full if there is no damage/loss within 24 hours or will be retained by us until a replacement has been brought, photos and a notice of how we intend to proceed will be also be sent to the original hirer with a detailed description of the damage within 24 hours of collection. Once the replacement has been sourced a copy of the pro forma will be forwarded to you. Once the broken /damaged items have been replaced (please note this will vary in time due to supplier having the replacement in stock) you will received notification and a copy of the receipt along with any remaining balance available to you. In the event that the deposit doesn't cover the cost of the broken/damaged items an invoice for an outstanding balance will be sent and payment will be expected within 7 days.
All bookings with venues have to allow us time to create your décor and designs please ensure you have the correct timings from us as to how long we need for set ups as these can take longer than may appear, when timings haven't been confirmed by us we accept no responsibility for running over your time frame. When we have to hire certain products from our partners that we work with it maybe necessary for you to sign two different hire terms and agreement paperwork. You will be notified if these products are being brought in by a third party.
All items on hire are the responsibility of the hirer we cannot be responsible for any products and service once we have left, you are responsible for how the equipment is looked after by your guests.
Balloons do pop and deflate for various different reasons please check you are happy with the balloons when they are delivered and helium is only guaranteed to float for a few hours not against popping.
Changes to orders are required to be notified to both parties up to 4 weeks before the booking date.
Any discrepancies need to be notified to us immediately or at least within 24 hours.
We cannot accept responsibility for outdoor events regarding weather issues and in some circumstances we will not be able to erect certain towers to due health and safety.
In event of us being delayed or non arrival at the venue due to mechanical break down, accidents or severe weather these are out of our control but we will endeavor to contact you to advise you of the situation as soon as possible.
We will require you to speak to us regarding any problems you have with our company directly before taking any issues to social media, we will not reply to any negative social media posts so any problems you have will not get rectified this way.
Please read and confirm you are happy to our terms and conditions and agree to be signed into and be bound into our contracts.
All terms and conditions are unique to individual hirers. We would strongly recommend all our hirers to have their own personal event/wedding insurance. A copy of our insurances, wedding planning certificate and food safety certificates are available on request.
